How it works
No charge, no forms, no fuss. Here's what happens to it once it's with us.
- Bring it down. Laptops, phones, tablets, consoles, cables, the lot. Working or dead, we'll take it off you.
- We wipe it. Your data gets cleared properly before anything else happens to the device.
- It gets a second life. If there's life left in it, we'll refurbish it ourselves so it can go to a new home. Whatever we can't refurb goes to our local charity partner, and the rest is recycled responsibly.
Your old data doesn't go anywhere
Getting rid of a device is really getting rid of what's on it. That's the part we take most seriously.
Wiped as standard. Every device we take in is securely wiped. You don't have to ask, it just happens.
Destroyed on request. Want it gone for good? We'll arrange certified destruction through our charity partner and give you a certificate to prove it.
One honest note: some devices, like a lot of phones and tablets, store data on memory that's soldered in and can't be physically destroyed on its own. We'll always tell you straight what can and can't be done with yours.
